Design and Construction of the Pulaski Skyway Bridge

About the Project

Eddy Germain will give an overview of NJDOT's bridge program initiatives and state of good repair projects.  In addition, the design alternatives and the current status of work and anticipated completion dates for work at the Pulaski Skyway bridge as a Mega Project will also be discussed.

The New Jersey DOT is midway through the construction of the Pulaski Skyway bridge.  Scott Thorn will cover the challenges and solution during the constructiono process using precast reinforced concrete slab segments for constructing the bridge deck.  The project inluded the completion of major bridge improvements, deck replacement and continuation of the NJDOT's Improvement Program.
