The ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I - Instructional Classes  -  April 20 and 22  (4:30 - 8:00 PM) -  Written and Performance Exams on April 30 (4:00 - 8:00 PM).

For the instructional class on April 20 bring a pen and highlighter, and on April 22 bring latex gloves and safety shoes. On April 30 for the exam bring a picture ID, No.2 pencil and calculator.

4.0 CPC/PDH can be obtained after passing both the written and practical exams.

Four learning objectives for this course are;

1. obtain the Knowledge to properly perform and record the results of seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete
2. understanding when a composite concrete sample is required and how to obtain it
3. understanding the time allowed to perform the specified tests and mold the strength test specimens
4. Understanding the two air content tests and when they are appropriate to be used
